hello, to all.
i have a question about sound drops from adobe premier6. when i am uploading some footage to a mini dv camera, the sound here and there drops.
although my computer is moderate speed, i have not had these problems before, and have scoured the settings in adobe to trace where i went wrong. here are some details:
the camera is 12bit, canon 530i.
the adobe settings are 32hz, dv/pal, edit with firewire.
i need someone to explain what interleave, and logorythmic? are. i am sure these two settings are the culprits.
hope someone can help me!
thanks.

Did you shoot with the audio at 32K, or at 48k?
By interleave, did you mean interlace?
Logorhythmic might be refering to compression, what options are you given?
So you did use this set-up before without any problems. hmmm.
You might have disk fragmentation going on. Do you ever defrag your computer?
Are you dropping audio or video frames?
I guess I have more questions than answers.

the footage was recorded in 32000khz, only the audio is dropping, not the visual, defrag was not on, deinterlace was on, interleave defaults on 1 frame.
it has me stumped!

32k is a lower quality.
So is this footage you shot on DV, loaded into the computer, did some editing, then dumped back to DV on your camcorder?
